How many times have you come up with the perfect line up only to have a few players not show up on game day? Trying to organize who should go on the ice in the next shift and in what position can also be tough during the game.
HockeyBench is designed to help solve these problems, freeing you, the coach, up to actually coach the game!
HockeyBench is similar to the SoccerCoach application. Its designed to help youth hockey coaches manage the players on the sideline. It keeps track of the positions each player has played during the game and the total play time each player has had.
It comes in very handy when trying to remember to positions players have been assigned to and allows coaches to design line ups at game time.
Theres a Team Editor for those coaches who are coaching multiple teams. Each team has a unique name, substitution interval, length of period, and can have one of two formations - 6v6 or 3v3.
Theres a Roster Editor where you can add all of your players, their names, and their jersey numbers. You can set up each player as "active" or "inactive" as they show up at game time.
In the Game View - you can view the bench or the rink and see whos on the bench, whos on the ice, who just came off the ice, who should be going on the ice next, and so forth.
The Stats View allows you to see each player, the positions theyve played, and the total number of minutes played.
After the game, you can e-mail a game summary and the stats to an e-mail address you set up so you can import the data into spreadsheets or just have it available as you plan for the next game!
